Esta es una historia realmente cortita que, sin embargo, me ha gustado mucho.
SINOPSIS:
In a moment of complete insanity, Amanda invites her ex-husband Peter and his new girlfriend Alice to Christmas lunch. Amanda has never met Alice, but no doubt she’s like all Peter’s previous girlfriends: young, vapid and uber cool.
As for Peter, Amanda has forgotten what she ever saw in him. Spending time with him is on par with dental work and pap smears – an annual event one endures.
But this Christmas things are about to change. Life throws Amanda a delightful curveball that forces her to look at her husband differently. It’s a Christmas to remember as Amanda gets the perfect present, delivered straight to her door.

Tal vez no sea la típica novela navideña, porque la protagonista es una mujer, divorciada y madre de tres adolescentes, que se encuentra ante el poco apetecible panorama de que su exmarido lleva a cenar a su casa a su nueva novia en Navidad. Donde ella espera una jovencita hipster u a años luz de sí misma, aparece alguien completamente diferente y que supone una maravillosa sorpresa. Tanto como para devolverle la fe en la magia de la navidad y ayudarle a ver incluso a su exmarido con otros ojos.
Sorprendente, tierna, divertida y entrañable. Breve pero intensa y con un gran mensaje. Muy recomendable.
