Nobody's Hero (Kallypso Masters)

Hace ya un tiempo que leí (en castellano) el primer libro de esta historia, junto con su introducción, que presentaba a los tres primeros protagonistas masculinos de esta serie junto con las mujeres que les roban el corazón. Me gustan las novelas de Doms siempre y cuando los personajes tengan el suficiente carisma, y Kallypso Masters me convenció lo suficiente como para animarme a leer un segundo libro, incluso aunque este solo estuviera disponible en inglés. 

SINOPSIS:

Me apetecía mucho leer la historia de Adam y Karla, incluso aunque tuviera que hacerlo en inglés, que como ya he dicho en otras ocasiones, me supone un esfuerzo adicional. Sin embargo, esta pareja tiene un comienzo tan prometedor que no he podido resistirme por mucho tiempo. 

Karla demostró ser rebelde e impulsiva desde muy jovencita, y que ya en esa época pusiera sus ojos en Adam, que le lleva veinticinco años, auguraba problemas para él tarde o temprano. Ella acaba buscándolo años después, en un momento doloroso, pues acaba de perder a su hermano. Él no quiere ver en ella a una mujer adulta, pero la joven Karla no se lo pondrá nada fácil.

Me gustan las historias en las que uno hace todo lo posible para alejar al otro, y el otro aguanta carros y carretas para no rendirse, porque sabe que luchar merece la pena. A pesar de sus inseguridades y de los malentendidos entre ellos, es una pareja con una química innegable, y ambos tienen un atractivo especial. Me ha encantado ver como superan sus problemas, aunque como suele pasarme con este tipo de libros, le habría dado un par de collejas a Adam en más de una ocasión.
